Number 1

Don't cheat on this and you will get a laugh. Read this message one line at a time and just do what it says. You will be glad you did. If not, you'll feel like an idiot and wish you had listened!

  1. Pick a number from 1-9.
  2. Subtract 5 and take the absolute value of that number.
  3. Multiply by 3.
  4. Square the number. (Note: Square and not square root)
  5. Add the digits until you get only one digit. (i.e., 64 becaomes 6+4=10, then 10 becomes 1+0=1)
  6. If the number is less than 5, add five. Otherwise, subtract 4.
  7. Multiply by 2.
  8. Subtract 6.
  9. Map the digit to a letter in the alphabet 1=A, 2=B, 3=C, etc.
  10. Pick a name of a country that begins with that letter.
  11. Take the second letter in the country name and think of a mammal that begins with that letter.
  12. Think of the color of that mammal.

Do the math in your head as fast as you can. What is:

  1. 2+2?
  2. 4+4?
  3. 8+8?
  4. 16+16?
  5. Quick! Pick a number between 12 and 5.

Number 3

Do the math in your head as fast as you can and follow these directions. What is:

  1. 1+5?
  2. 2+4?
  3. 3+3?
  4. 4+2?
  5. 5+1?
  6. Now repeat saying the number 6 to yourself as fast as you can for 15 seconds.
  7. Quickly think of a vegetable!

Number 4

  1. First of all, pick the number of days a week that you would like to go out (or eat pizza, whatever).
  2. Multiply this number by 2.
  3. Add 5.
  4. Multiply it by 50.
  5. If you have already had your birthday this year, add 1750. Otherwise, add 1749.
  6. For the current year, add 1 for each year after the year 2000 or subtract 1 for each year before the year 2000. If it is currently the year 2000, do nothing.
  7. Subtract the four digit year that you were born.

Interpretation

You should now have a three digit number: The first digit of this was your original number from question number 1. The second two digits are your age! It really works.
